Old Deuteronomy is the Jellicle leader. He is an old tottery cat. Once every year Old Deuteronomy chooses a new cat to be reborn. Old Deuteronomy gets kidnapped by Macavity and needs to get to his tribe. So Mistoffelees uses his magical powers to bring him back. Munkustrap is his protector.
