GRIZABELLA
Grizabella is a really old cat who is weak and her
coat is torn. She was once a glamour cat, who was beautiful, and she was also a Jellicle.
She left the tribe a few years ago, which probably seems like 50 or 60 years to cats, and
decided to return at the Jellicle Ball. She led an easy life, until she left the tribe and
got old. Demeter felt very sorry for her, so did Victoria and Jemima, but the others-
hated her. But then when Victoria reaches out to her and puts her paw in Grizabella's paw,
the other Jellicles realize that she wants to be forgiven for leaving. So they accept her
back in. But, Old Deuteronomy chooses her to be reborn.
